| The winning combination of Comanche, Oklahoma cowgirl
Shy-Anne Bowden and Rambling Rally (aka "Rally") has been and continues to be a
stunning success. They first paired up when
Shy-Anne was just eight years old. Now, at 16, Shy-Anne and Rally are still a force
to be reckoned with and like the Energizer Bunny, they just keep going and
going.....Today, Rally is 20 years old and showing no signs of slowing up. Shy-Anne
and Rally have been rodeoing now for eight years. Out of these eight years, they
have been in the Top Fifteen of the TCRA an incredible five times!
Here are just a few of the honors that Shy Anne and Rally
have accomplished:
- Won the short go and ran the fastest time at the
1998 Oklahoma State High Scool Finals
- Qualified for the 1998 National High Scool Rodeo
Finals
- 1998 Rookie of the Year for the State of Oklahoma
Rally is one of the star patriarchs of the Slash W family.
Ed and Martha bought Rally as a three year old and the rest is history!
Martha and Rally enjoyed much success his futurity and derby year. Click here to see Martha and Rambling Rally winning the 1983 Budweiser Memorial
Futurity. When asked to describe Rally in one word, Martha replied,
"Consistent". Over fifteen years later, one would have to agree!
We are very proud of Shy Anne and Rally and wish them
continued success. Watch for these two and make sure to tell Shy Anne that you saw
her featured in the Slash W Spotlight!
